What is FSC?

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international certification and labelling system awarded to members who demonstrate business standards, which go above and beyond the call of duty for environment preservation and environmentally ethical business practices. As such, this governing body, regulates the chain of custody from sustainable resources to the consumers and insures the contents are from accredited and valid recycled sources.

Why Use a FSC Certified Printer?

  • Promoting the verification of all paper sources as environmentally responsible businesses.
  • To exceed the minimum requirements set by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) of Canada for environmental business practices.
  • To remain as transparent with business practices as required to remain as a member of this highly accredited organization

Will there be an additional cost to you as a consumer to use this service?

No. Although the cost of some papers due to their high recycled content maybe higher than others, to use us as your printing company of choice, we promise to maintain a competitive level of pricing that will be equal or lower than the industry average, and you can show your own individual commitment to the environment by using us in return.

Authenticity of claims

FSC Canada has a strict agenda and auditing process that takes roughly three months to complete. Once a printer is awarded a certificate number, regular audits are performed to assure industry standards are met. Our certificate number is CU_COC-812235 and we can be located on the list of FSC Certified printers on http://www.fsccanada.org/
